Feeling really sad today, things just don’t get any easier and it’s struggle getting through each day. The more time goes by the harder it gets and the more I miss you. I went to the cemetery and brought you some flowers today. As I was talking to you a seagull circled above making such a loud noise. Was it a sign from you? I’d like to think so. Reminds me of the time a few weeks ago when me and your dad were taking the dogs for a walk. We were passing by the cemetery. I had my head bowed and was thinking of you. There on the ground in front of me was an elastic band perfectly shaped like an ‘A’. Was that a sign from you to let me know you knew I was thinking of you and to let me know you were ok? I like to think so. Derek has gone to Barcelona to take part in a running event which is held tomorrow, I guess it might bring back memories for him because you visited the place together in 2008. He’s doing it as a training run, getting fit for the Great North Run that will be held later on in the year. You would be so very proud of him Angela. He has raised a large sum of money for Hartlepool Hospice, in memory of you. Miss you more each day and feeling really sad we didn’t get to do the things we were going to do. Love Mam xxx
